Hey, I'm Kaur Kallas

I’m a Senior Platform Engineer, Cloud Architect and SRE, and the founder of Sparky Solutions, an independent DevOps consultancy based in Tallinn, Estonia. I help everyone from early-stage startups to regulated banking and health-tech enterprises build, run and modernise platforms that hold up in production — not just in a demo.

I’m Estonia’s first CNCF Kubestronaut and first Certified Argo Project Associate, and a two-time speaker at Nordic DevOps Days, where I’ve talked about tying Kubernetes, Argo CD, Crossplane and Helm together into a single, coherent platform.

I’m platform-agnostic by design: I work across multi-cloud, hybrid and on-prem — public cloud (AWS, GCP) as well as bare metal (preferably Talos). The right home for a workload is the one that fits your business, not the latest trend. Over the years I’ve migrated enterprises onto Kubernetes, stood up on-prem clusters, helped startups build their first platforms, and refactored legacy systems into microservices people can actually maintain.
